On August 2, 2027, the Moon's shadow crosses the Strait of Gibraltar and the Nile Valley, turning day into night for up to ≈ 6 minutes 23 seconds near Luxor, Egypt, the longest totality visible from land between 1991 and 2114. August weather along the path is among the most reliable anywhere an eclipse has ever been chased.
